Speen is built on one delightfully strange idea: you are two connected circles, and only one of them moves at a time. One circle stays planted as a pivot while the other swings around it — tap to swap their roles, and the swinging circle becomes the new anchor. That’s the whole control scheme, and out of it comes a surprisingly deep movement system where momentum is your engine, your steering wheel, and your weapon.
Swing over glowing green pickups to fill your meters. Build up enough speed and your swinging leg becomes a charged wrecking ball — smash it through spike balls, rival spinners, and eventually a boss bumper. Progress unlocks decorations for your home spot, and the multiplayer world lets you paint territory, duel other spinners, and chase a full set of achievements.
Tips for Smooth Spinning
- Think in arcs, not lines. You never travel straight — every move is a curve around your planted circle. Before tapping, picture the arc your free circle will trace and where along that arc you want to plant next.
- Tap at the top of your swing speed. Swapping the pivot mid-swing carries your momentum forward. Swapping while slow leaves you flailing in place — speed is everything here.
- Charge before you charge. Spike balls and rivals punish a timid touch. Collect pickups, get the swing howling, then commit to the smash.
- Use small wiggles to reposition. Quick alternating taps let you “walk” short distances with control when a big swing would overshoot.
