How to Play Grab.io
Grab.io is a land-grab game in the classic paper.io style, set on a round arena crowded with bot rivals. You start with a small patch of territory. To grow it, you have to leave the safety of your own land, trace a loop through open ground, and slip back home — everything inside the loop becomes yours. The bigger the loop, the bigger the reward… and the longer you’re exposed.
Because here’s the deal: while you’re outside your territory, your trail is your weakness. If any rival touches the line you’re drawing, you’re done instantly — and the same applies to them. Stars scattered around the arena add bonus points, rivals’ land can be stolen simply by looping over it, and the leaderboard crown goes to whoever holds the most ground.
Tips to Wear the Crown
- Take small bites, often. Ten quick, safe loops beat one glorious giant loop that gets you killed halfway. Consistent nibbling is how territory actually accumulates.
- Cut corners off rivals’ land. Enemy territory converts to yours just like neutral ground, and shaving the edge of a big rival’s empire is safer than it looks — they’re usually off expanding somewhere else.
- Watch trails, not blobs. The dangerous thing on screen is never a rival’s body — it’s the line they’re drawing and the line you’re drawing. Track where trails are, and cross a rival’s trail to eliminate them when the chance appears.
- Turn back at the first sign of company. The moment another player enters your half of the arena mid-loop, close the loop early. Banked land beats ambitious land.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Grab.io free to play?
Yes — it loads right in your browser, free, on desktop and mobile.
How do I lose?
Any rival touching your unfinished trail eliminates you instantly — and you eliminate them the same way. Inside your own territory you’re safe.
What do the stars do?
They’re bonus pickups worth extra points — grab them when they’re on your route, but they’re rarely worth a risky detour.
