One paddle, one ball, a wall of colorful bricks: knock them all down. The ball bounces off the walls, the ceiling, and your paddle — your only job is to make sure it never falls past you. Every brick you smash is worth 10 points, and when the wall is clear, the next level starts immediately with more rows and a faster ball.
You start with three lives. Drop the ball and you lose one; lose all three and the run is over. The ball also picks up a little extra speed with every paddle bounce, so even a “calm” level gets spicy if it drags on.
The most important thing to learn is that you control the angle. Where the ball lands on your paddle decides where it goes next: dead center sends it straight up, the edges fire it out at a sharp angle. Good players don’t just catch the ball — they place their paddle so the ball comes off exactly where they want it.
Tips for Higher Scores
- Aim for the sides early. Carving a channel up one side lets the ball slip behind the wall and bounce around the top, clearing bricks for free while you rest.
- Use edge hits on purpose. Need to reach bricks in a far corner? Catch the ball near the paddle’s edge to whip it out at a steep angle.
- Don’t chase — predict. Watch the bounce and move to where the ball is going, not where it is. Chasing is how you arrive half a paddle short.
- Stay near the center when unsure. From the middle you can reach either side; parked in a corner, you can’t.
